Acrolith
Um acrolith é uma escultura composta de pedra e outros materiais, como no caso de uma figura cujo tronco é feito de madeira, enquanto a cabeça, as mãos e os pés são feitos de mármore. A madeira estava escondida por cortinas ou por dourado; Somente as partes de mármore foram expostas à vista. Este tipo de estatuaria era comum e generalizada na antiguidade clássica.
