O QUE SIGNIFICA AUDIOLOGY EM INGLÊS
Audiologia
Audiologia é o ramo da ciência que estuda audição, equilíbrio e distúrbios relacionados. Seus praticantes, que tratam aqueles com perda de audição e prevenem proativamente os danos relacionados são os audiologistas. Empregando várias estratégias de teste, a audiologia visa determinar se alguém pode ouvir dentro do alcance normal e, caso contrário, quais partes da audiência são afetadas e até que ponto. Se um audiologista determinar que uma perda auditiva ou uma anormalidade vestibular está presente, ele ou ela irá fornecer recomendações a um paciente sobre quais opções podem ser úteis.
