Na álgebra elementar, o teorema binomial descreve a expansão algébrica dos poderes de um binômio. De acordo com o teorema, é possível expandir o poder n em uma soma envolvendo termos da forma axbyc, onde os expoentes b e c são inteiros não negativos com b + c = n, e o coeficiente a de cada termo é um positivo específico inteiro dependendo de n e b.
