Os bolcheviques, originalmente também bolcheviques ou bolcheviques (russo: большевики, большевик (singular), IPA: derivados de bol'shinstvo, "maioria", que significa literalmente "uma da maioria") eram uma facção do trabalho marxista russo-social-democrata Partido (RSDLP) que se separou da facção menchevique no Congresso do Segundo Partido em 1903. Os bolcheviques eram a facção maioritária em um voto crucial, daí o nome deles. Eles finalmente se tornaram o Partido Comunista da União Soviética. Os bolcheviques chegaram ao poder na Rússia durante a fase de revolução de outubro da Revolução Russa de 1917 e fundaram a República Socialista Federativa Soviética da Rússia que mais tarde se tornaria o principal constituinte da União Soviética em 1922. Os bolcheviques, fundados por Vladimir Lenin e Alexander Bogdanov, eram, em 1905, uma grande organização composta principalmente de trabalhadores sob uma hierarquia interna democrática governada pelo princípio do centralismo democrático, que se consideravam líderes da classe trabalhadora revolucionária da Rússia.
