Acordo de codeshare
Um acordo de codeshare, às vezes simplesmente compartilhado, é um acordo comercial de aviação onde duas ou mais companhias aéreas compartilham o mesmo voo. Um assento pode ser comprado em uma companhia aérea, mas na verdade é operado por uma companhia aérea cooperante sob um número ou código de vôo diferente. O termo "código" refere-se ao identificador usado na programação do voo, geralmente o código do designador da companhia aérea IATA de dois caracteres e o número do vôo. Assim, o XX123, o voo 123 operado pela companhia aérea XX, também pode ser vendido pela companhia aérea YY como YY456 e por ZZ como ZZ9876. Permite um maior acesso às cidades através da rede de uma determinada companhia aérea sem ter que oferecer vôos extras, e facilita as conexões, permitindo reservas únicas em vários planos. A maioria das principais companhias aéreas hoje tem parcerias de compartilhamento de código com outras companhias aéreas e o compartilhamento de código é uma característica fundamental das principais alianças de companhias aéreas. Sob um acordo de compartilhamento de código, a companhia aérea que realmente opera o vôo é chamada operadora operadora. A empresa ou as empresas que vendem bilhetes para esse voo, mas na verdade não operam, são chamadas de operadoras de marketing.
