Uma zona de convergência é uma região na atmosfera onde dois fluxos prevalecentes se encontram e interagem, geralmente resultando em condições climáticas distintivas. Um exemplo de uma zona de convergência é a Zona de Convergência Intertropical, uma área de baixa pressão que cintila a Terra no Equador. Outro exemplo é a zona de convergência do Pacífico Sul que se estende desde o Oceano Pacífico ocidental até a Polinésia Francesa. As zonas de convergência também ocorrem em uma escala menor.
