Bennettitales é uma ordem extinta de plantas de sementes que apareceu pela primeira vez no período Triássico e se tornou extinta na maioria das áreas no final do Cretáceo, embora alguns Bennettitales parecem ter sobrevivido aos tempos de Oligoceno na Tasmânia e no leste da Austrália. Alguns foram caracterizados por troncos espessos e folhas pinnately compostas que apresentavam uma semelhança superficial com as de cíclades, diferindo principalmente no arranjo estomático. O taxon compreende dois grupos, os Cycadeoidaceae, representados por Cycadeoidea e Monanthesia, que possuíam troncos e strobili bisporangiate, e as Williamsoniaceae, incluindo Williamsonia, Williamsoniella, Wielandella e Ischnophyton, que possuíam troncos esbeltos e ramificados e estroboscópio bisporangiate ou monosporangiate. Bennettitales foi colocado entre os antrofitos e por algum tempo foram considerados parentes próximos das plantas com flores devido às suas estruturas reprodutivas florais.
