Ciclóide
Um cicloide é a curva traçada por um ponto na borda de uma roda circular à medida que a roda rola ao longo de uma linha reta. É um exemplo de uma roleta, uma curva gerada por uma curva que rola em outra curva. O ciclóide invertido é a solução para o problema da braquistochrona e o problema relacionado com a tautochrona.
