Desmosoma
Um desmosoma, também conhecido como macula adherens, é uma estrutura celular especializada para a adesão célula a célula. Um tipo de complexo juncional, são as adesões localizadas localizadas dispostas aleatoriamente nos lados laterais das membranas plasmáticas. Os desmosomas ajudam a resistir às forças de corte e são encontrados em epitélio escamoso simples e estratificado. O espaço intercelular é muito amplo. Desmossomas também são encontrados no tecido muscular onde eles se ligam às células musculares um ao outro.
