Ecocardiografia
O ecocardiograma, muitas vezes referido como um eco cardíaco ou simplesmente um eco, é um sonograma do coração. A ecocardiografia usa ultra-som padrão bidimensional, tridimensional e Doppler para criar imagens do coração. A ecocardiografia tornou-se rotineiramente utilizada no diagnóstico, gerenciamento e acompanhamento de pacientes com doenças cardíacas suspeitas ou conhecidas. É um dos testes de diagnóstico mais amplamente utilizados em cardiologia.
