O QUE SIGNIFICA EUTECTOID EM INGLÊS
Sistema eutectico
Um sistema eutéctico do grego "ευ" e "Τήξις" é uma mistura de compostos químicos ou elementos que possuem uma composição química única que se solidifica a uma temperatura mais baixa do que qualquer outra composição composta dos mesmos ingredientes. Esta composição é conhecida como composição eutéctica e a temperatura em que se solidifica é conhecida como temperatura eutéctica. Num diagrama de fases, a interseção da temperatura eutéctica e a composição eutéctica conferem o ponto eutéctico. As misturas não eutécticas mostrarão a solidificação de um componente da mistura antes da outra. Nem todas as ligas binárias têm um ponto eutéctico; Por exemplo, no sistema prata-ouro, a temperatura de fusão e a temperatura de congelamento aumentam monotonicamente à medida que a mistura muda de prata pura para ouro puro.
