Historiador
Um historiador é um ser humano que estuda e escreve sobre o passado e é considerado uma autoridade nisso. Os historiadores estão preocupados com a contínua, metódica narrativa e pesquisa de eventos passados como relacionados à raça humana; bem como o estudo de toda a história no tempo. Se o indivíduo se preocupa com eventos que precedem a história escrita, o indivíduo é um historiador da pré-história. Embora o "historiador" possa ser usado para descrever historiadores amadores e profissionais, é reservado mais recentemente para aqueles que adquiriram pós-graduação na disciplina. Alguns historiadores, porém, são reconhecidos por publicações ou treinamento e experiência. O "historiador" tornou-se uma ocupação profissional no final do século XIX, já que as universidades de pesquisa estavam emergindo na Alemanha e em outros lugares.
