Logograma
Um logograma, ou logograma, é um grafema que representa uma palavra ou um morfema. Isso contrasta com os fonogramas, que representam fonemas ou combinações de fonemas, e determinantes, que marcam categorias semânticas. Os logogramas são comumente conhecidos também como "ideogramas". No entanto, estritamente falando, os ideogramas representam idéias diretamente em vez de palavras e morfemas, e nenhum dos sistemas logográficos descritos aqui é verdadeiramente ideográfico. Uma característica dos logogramas é que um logograma único pode ser usado por uma pluralidade de idiomas para representar palavras com significados semelhantes.
