Multivibrador
Um multivibrador é um circuito eletrônico usado para implementar uma variedade de sistemas simples de dois estados, como osciladores, temporizadores e flip-flops. Caracteriza-se por dois dispositivos amplificadores acoplados através de resistências ou capacitores. O nome "multivibrador" foi inicialmente aplicado à versão de oscilador de execução livre do circuito porque a forma de onda de saída era rica em harmônicos. Existem três tipos de circuitos multivibradores dependendo da operação do circuito: ▪ astable, em que o circuito não é estável em nenhum dos estados - alterna continuamente de um estado para o outro. Funciona como um oscilador de relaxamento. ▪ monostable, no qual um dos estados é estável, mas o outro estado é instável. Um pulso de disparo faz com que o circuito entre no estado instável. Depois de entrar no estado instável, o circuito retornará ao estado estável depois de um horário definido. Esse circuito é útil para criar um período de tempo de duração fixa em resposta a algum evento externo. Este circuito também é conhecido como um tiro. ▪ Biestable, no qual o circuito é estável em qualquer estado. Pode ser virado de um estado para o outro por um impulso de gatilho externo.
