O QUE SIGNIFICA PLANFORM EM INGLÊS

Na aviação, uma forma de plano é a forma e o layout da fuselagem e da asa de uma aeronave de asa fixa. De todos os inúmeros planforms utilizados, eles geralmente podem ser agrupados nos utilizados para vôos de baixa velocidade, encontrados em aviões de aviação geral, e aqueles usados para vôos de alta velocidade, encontrados em muitos aviões militares e aeronaves. O plano pode também se referir à área projetada da asa. A partir de uma perspectiva de vista superior, pode-se prolongar as linhas das bordas principal e posterior nos lados esquerdo e direito da fuselagem até se encontrarem na linha central da aeronave. A área da asa juntamente com esta área projetada é comumente referida como a área do plano. É usado como um parâmetro de não dimensionalização.
