Plural
O plural, em muitas línguas, é um dos valores da categoria gramatical de número. As formas plurais de substantivos normalmente indicam uma quantidade diferente da quantidade padrão representada por um substantivo, que geralmente é um. Mais comumente, portanto, os plurais são usados para denotar duas ou mais de alguma coisa, embora também possam indicar quantidades fracionadas, zero ou negativas. Um exemplo de plural é a palavra inglesa gatos, que corresponde ao gato singular.
