Rhinolito
Um rhinolith é um cálculo presente na cavidade nasal. A palavra é derivada das raízes rino-e -lith, literalmente significando "pedra do nariz". É um fenômeno médico incomum, que não deve ser confundido com o muco nasal seco. Um rhinolith geralmente se forma em torno do núcleo de um corpo estranho exógeno pequeno, coágulo de sangue ou secreção por deposição lenta de cálcio e sais de magnésio.
