Sifaka
Sifakas (singular "sifaka"; i / ʃɪfɑːk /; Pronúncia malgaxe: (escute)) são um gênero (Propithecus) de lêmure da família Indriidae na ordem Primatas. O nome da família é uma onomatopéia de sua chamada de alarme "shi-fak" característica. Como todos os lêmures, eles são encontrados apenas na ilha de Madagascar. Todas as espécies de sifakas estão ameaçadas, desde vulneráveis a criticamente ameaçadas de extinção. Sifakas são indístes de tamanho médio com uma cabeça e comprimento de corpo de 40 a 55 centímetros (16 a 22 pol) e um peso de 3 a 6 quilos (6,6 a 13,2 lb).
