Objetivo de ouro
O objetivo de ouro ou o ponto dourado é uma regra usada em futebol de associação, bandy, hóquei em campo, hóquei no gelo e korfball para decidir o vencedor de uma partida em que as pontuações são iguais no final do tempo normal. É um tipo de morte súbita. Sob esta regra, o time que marca o primeiro gol ou ponto durante o tempo extra é o vencedor. O jogo termina quando um gol de ouro é marcado. Introduziu-se formalmente em 1992, embora com alguma história antes disso, a regra deixou de se aplicar à maioria dos jogos de futebol autorizados da FIFA em 2004. O objetivo de prata semelhante completou o gol de ouro entre 2002 e 2004. O gol de ouro ainda é usado no Beach Soccer World Copa, nas partidas da NCAA e nos jogos de hóquei de campo aprovados pela FIH, bem como nos jogos de hóquei em rolo sancionados da FIRS. Um conceito relacionado é usado nos jogos da National Rugby League. Uma regra de objetivo de ouro semelhante também é usada em todos os jogos de horas extras da Liga Nacional de Hóquei, no entanto, o termo "objetivo de ouro" não é usado.
