O tubo de armazenamento biestable de visão direta foi um acrônimo usado pela Tektronix para descrever sua linha de tubos de armazenamento. Estes eram tubos de raios catódicos que armazenavam informações escritas para eles usando uma técnica analógica inerente ao CRT e com base na emissão secundária de elétrons da própria tela de fósforo. A tecnologia DVBST foi antecipada por Andrew Haeff do US Naval Research Laboratory, e por Williams e Kilburn no final da década de 1940. Robert H.
