Solon
Solon era um estadista ateniense, legislador e poeta. Ele é lembrado particularmente por seus esforços para legislar contra o declínio político, econômico e moral na Atenas arcaica. Suas reformas falharam no curto prazo, mas muitas vezes ele é creditado com ter lançado as bases para a democracia ateniense.
