Teoria dos sistemas
A teoria dos sistemas é o estudo interdisciplinar dos sistemas em geral, com o objetivo de elucidar princípios que podem ser aplicados a todos os tipos de sistemas em todos os níveis de nidificação em todos os campos de pesquisa. O termo ainda não tem um significado bem estabelecido e preciso, mas a teoria dos sistemas pode razoavelmente ser considerada uma especialização do pensamento sistêmico, uma generalização da ciência dos sistemas, uma abordagem de sistemas. O termo se origina na teoria do sistema geral de Bertalanffy e é usado em esforços posteriores em outros campos, como a teoria da ação de Talcott Parsons e a teoria dos sistemas sociais de Niklas Luhmann. Neste contexto, os sistemas de palavras são usados para se referir especificamente a sistemas de auto-regulação, ou seja, sistemas auto-corrigidos através de feedback. Os sistemas auto-reguladores são encontrados na natureza, incluindo os sistemas fisiológicos do nosso corpo, nos ecossistemas locais e globais e nos processos de aprendizagem climática e humana.
