Filigrana
Filigrana é um tipo de joalharia delicado, geralmente de ouro e prata, feito com pequenas contas ou fios torcidos, ou ambos em combinação, soldados ou à superfície de um objeto do mesmo metal e dispostos em motivos artísticos. Muitas vezes, sugere rendas e continua a ser popular em artesanato asiático e asiático. Era popular também na indústria metalúrgica italiana e francesa de 1660 até o final do século XIX. Não deve ser confundido com o trabalho de joalheria, a técnica ajoure consistindo em furos de perfuração em objetos feitos de chapa metálica. A palavra inglesa de filigrana é reduzida do uso anterior de filigreen que deriva do "filum" latino que significa grão e grão "granum", no sentido de uma pequena nota.
