Zoroastrismo / ˌzɒroʊæstriənɪzəm /, também chamado Zaratustraismo, Mazdaism e Magianismo, é uma antiga religião iraniana e uma filosofia religiosa. Era uma vez a religião de estado dos impérios aquemênides, partos e sasanianos. As estimativas do número atual de Zoroastrians em todo o mundo variam entre 145.000 e 2.6 milhões. O zoroastrismo surgiu na região oriental do antigo Império Persa, quando o filósofo religioso Zoroaster simplificou o panteão dos deuses iranianos iniciais em duas forças opostas: Spenta Mainyu e Angra Mainyu sob o único deus, Ahura Mazda. As idéias de Zoroaster levaram a uma religião formal com seu nome em torno do século VI aC e influenciaram outras religiões posteriores, incluindo judaísmo, gnosticismo, cristianismo e islamismo.
