Cha-Cha
Cha-Cha é uma dança muito rápida e espasmódica na qual os músculos do abdômen e as pernas são usados intensamente. O abdômen está funcionando a plena capacidade, já que o movimento dos quadris é na forma de um ritmo de oito figuras, semelhante ao movimento do rumba, mas a um ritmo muito mais rápido. As divisões freqüentes e os retornos da coreografia exigem todo o corpo e melhoram o equilíbrio físico. Durante esta dança, os músculos internos da coxa funcionam intensamente, já que o movimento cha-cha predominante é composto de chassis esquerdo-direito ou frente-a-trás. Os Piruetes correm rapidamente, com a retaguarda direita reta, para manter o fuso vertical durante a rotação. O esforço feito para praticar cha-cha ajuda a alcançar uma musculatura firme, porque durante a dança, as articulações são fortemente exigidas, mas com o tempo, a mobilidade aumenta, tornam-se mais fortes e mais elásticas.
