Activitate biologică
În farmacologie, activitatea biologică sau activitatea farmacologică descrie efectele benefice sau adverse ale unui medicament asupra materiei vii. Atunci când un medicament este un amestec chimic complex, această activitate este exercitată de ingredientul activ al substanței sau de farmacofor, dar poate fi modificată de ceilalți constituenți. Dintre diferitele proprietăți ale compușilor chimici, activitatea farmacologică / biologică joacă un rol crucial, deoarece sugerează utilizarea compușilor în aplicațiile medicale.
