Acidul boric, denumit și acidul borat, acidul boric, acidul orto-boric și acidul boric, este un acid monobazic Lewis de bor utilizat adesea ca antiseptic, insecticid, retardant de flacără, absorbant de neutroni sau precursor al altor compuși chimici. Are formula chimică H3BO3 (uneori scrisă B (OH) 3) și există sub formă de cristale incolore sau o pulbere albă care se dizolvă în apă. Când apare ca un mineral, se numește sassolit.
