Otto Adolf Eichmann a fost un nazist german SS-Obersturmbannführer și unul dintre principalii organizatori ai Holocaustului. Eichmann a fost acuzat de SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich pentru facilitarea și gestionarea logisticii de deportare în masă a evreilor în ghetouri și lagărele de exterminare din Europa de Est ocupată în Germania în timpul celui de-al doilea război mondial. În 1960, a fost capturat în Argentina de către serviciul de informații al Israelului Mossad. În urma unui proces publicat pe scară largă în Israel, a fost găsit vinovat de crime de război și a fost spânzurat în 1962. După o carieră școlară neremarabilă, Eichmann a lucrat pe scurt pentru compania minieră a tatălui său din Austria, unde familia sa mutat în 1914. vânzător de petrol începând din 1927, care sa alăturat partidului nazist și SS în 1932.
