Electroscop
Un electroscop este un instrument științific timpuriu care este utilizat pentru a detecta prezența și amploarea încărcăturii electrice pe un corp. A fost primul instrument de măsurare electric. Primul electroscop, un ac pivotat numit versorium, a fost inventat de medicul britanic William Gilbert în jurul anului 1600. Electroscopul cu bilă și electroscopul cu frunze de aur sunt două tipuri clasice de electroscop care sunt încă folosite în educația fizică pentru a demonstra principiile electrostatică.
