Castroismul este o variantă a comunismului, căptușită și creată de Fidel Castro. Castroismul este influențat de numeroase ideologii, dar în special de teoriile revoluționarului cubanez José Martí, iar după 1961, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin și, după cumva, un partener al mișcării, Che Guevara, din 26 iulie. Concentrarea principală a Castroismului este practica și teoria din spatele revoluției și guvernării revoluționare din Cuba și promovează naționalismul cubanez, solidaritatea latino-americană, justiția socială și democrația oamenilor.
