În baschet, un flop este o cădere intenționată de către un jucător după un contact fizic mic sau deloc de către un jucător opus, pentru a atrage o greșeală personală de către un oficial împotriva adversarului. Miscarea este uneori numita actiune, ca si in "actiunea ca si cum ar fi fost falsificata". Deoarece este în mod inerent conceput pentru a înșela oficialul, flopul este în general considerat a fi nesportiv. Cu toate acestea, este practicat pe scară largă și chiar perfectat de mulți profesioniști. Efectuarea flopului nu este ușor de făcut, în primul rând pentru că contactul cu desenul poate avea uneori efectul opus - o greșeală chemată asupra jucătorului defensiv - atunci când se atrage prea mult contact sau dacă jucătorul nu sa poziționat perfect.
