Jeddah
Jeddah este un oraș în regiunea Hijaz Tihamah de pe coasta Mării Roșii și este principalul centru urban al Arabiei Saudite de Vest. Este cel mai mare oraș din provincia Makkah, cel mai mare port maritim de pe Marea Roșie, și al doilea cel mai mare oraș din Arabia Saudită după capitala, Riyadh. Cu o populație de 5,1 milioane de locuitori, Jeddah este un important centru comercial din Arabia Saudită. A fost devastat de inundații la începutul anului 2011. Jeddah este principala poartă de acces spre Mecca, orașul cel mai sfânt al islamului, pe care musulmanii capabili trebuie să-l viziteze cel puțin o dată în timpul vieții.
