În fizică și inginerie, un vector de fază sau un fazor reprezintă o reprezentare a unei funcții sinusoidale a cărei amplitudine, frecvență și fază sunt invariabile în timp. Este un subset al unui concept mai general numit reprezentare analitică. Phasorii separă dependențele de A, ω și θ de trei factori independenți. Acest lucru poate fi deosebit de util, deoarece factorul de frecvență este adesea comun tuturor componentelor unei combinații liniare de sinusoide. În aceste situații, phasorii permit ca această caracteristică comună să fie luată în considerare, lăsând doar funcțiile A și θ. Rezultatul este că trigonometria se reduce la algebră, iar ecuațiile diferențiale liniar devin algebrice. Prin urmare, termenul phasor se referă adesea la acești doi factori. În textele mai vechi, un phasor este de asemenea referit ca un sinor.
