Un card de raport comunică performanța unui student la nivel academic. În majoritatea locurilor, cartea de raport este emisă de către școală elevului sau părinților elevului de două ori până la patru ori pe an. Un card tipic de rapoarte utilizează o scară de clasificare pentru a determina calitatea muncii școlare a elevului. În toată America de Nord, scala de clasificare constă în note notate în clasele luate de student. Cardurile de raportare sunt acum frecvent emise în formă automată de computere și pot fi trimise prin poștă părinților și studenților.
