Banda perforată
Banda perforată sau banda de hârtie perforată reprezintă o formă de stocare a datelor, constând dintr-o bandă lungă de hârtie în care găurile sunt perforate pentru a stoca date. Acum, efectiv depășită, a fost folosită pe scară largă în mare parte a secolului al XX-lea pentru comunicarea prin teleprinter, pentru intrarea în computerele anilor 1950 și 1960 și mai târziu ca mediu de stocare pentru minicomputere și mașini-unelte CNC.
