Roscommon este orașul județean Roscommon din Irlanda. Este aproape de întâlnirea drumurilor N60, N61 și N63, punându-l aproximativ în centrul Irlandei. Numele Roscommon este derivat din comana mac Faelchon, care a construit o mănăstire acolo în secolul al V-lea. Pădurea din apropierea mănăstirii a devenit cunoscută sub numele de Ros Comáin. Acest lucru a fost ulterior anglicizat la Roscommon. Populația sa la recensământul din 2006 a fost de 5.017.
