Supererogarea este performanța mai mult decât este cerută; acțiunea de a face mai mult decât datoria impune. În etică, un act este suprasolicitar dacă este bine, dar nu trebuie făcut moral. Se referă la un act care este mai mult decât necesar, atunci când un alt mod de acțiune - implicând mai puțin - ar fi în continuare o acțiune acceptabilă.
