Leon Troțki
Leon Levski (7 noiembrie 1879 - 21 august 1940) a fost un revoluționar și teoretician marxist rus, politician sovietic și fondator și lider al Armatei Roșii. Troțki a fost inițial un susținător al fracțiunii internaționali menșevici a Partidului Laburist Social Democrat din Rusia. Sa alăturat bolșevicilor imediat înainte de Revoluția din 1917 și, în cele din urmă, a devenit lider în cadrul Partidului. În primele zile ale Uniunii Sovietice, el a ocupat mai întâi funcția de Comisar al Poporului pentru Afaceri Externe și mai târziu în calitate de fondator și comandant al Armatei Roșii ca Comisar al Afacerilor Militare și Naval al Poporului. El a fost o figură majoră în victoria bolșevică a războiului civil rus (1918-23). El a fost, de asemenea, printre primii membri ai Politburo.
