Byblos este numele grecesc pentru orașul fenician din Guevara. Acum se află pe muntele libanez al Libanului, iar acum este numit arabă jubileu. Și în cruciade, a fost numită Givelet. Se crede că a fost construită în jurul anului 5000 î.Hr. Și conform sculpturii istoricului fenician, Sanchinatone, înainte de războiul troian anticline, este primul oraș și se crede a fi cel mai vechi oraș din lume care a trăit și astăzi.
