Arsenid de galiu diode Schottky O diodă este formată prin formarea unei pelicule subțiri de metal cum ar fi aurul, nichelul, tungstenul, molibdenul, vanadiul etc. și formarea unei barieră Schottky printr-o metodă cum ar fi evaporarea în vid, galvanizarea, descompunerea dintr-un compus pe un substrat semiconductor de arsenid de galiu . Acesta este folosit ca un oscilator de semnal mic al undei cu microunde și milimetru și un dispozitiv pentru detecție, mixer și parametru. 갈륨비소쇼트키다이오드
금·니켈·텅스텐·몰리브덴·바나듐 등 금속의 엷은 막을 만들어 쇼트키형의 장벽을 형성시킨 다이오드로 갈륨비소의 반도체 기판 위에 진공증착(眞空蒸着)·전기도금, 화합물로부터의 분해 등의 방법에 의해 만든다. 마이크로파·밀리파의 작은 신호발진장치 및 검파·믹서·파라메트론용 장치로 쓰인다.
