Paliurus spina-christi
Paliurus spina-christi, широко известный как Иерусалим Торн, Гирлянда Торн, Храм Христа или Теренная терна, является разновидностью палиуров, относящихся к Средиземноморскому региону, к юго-западу и Центральной Азии, от Марокко и Испании к востоку от Ирана и Таджикистана. Название отражает старую легенду о том, что колючие ветви использовались для того, чтобы венец тернов, возложенных на голову Христа перед его распятием. Он рассматривается как декоративное любопытство и культивируется в некоторых областях, расширяющих свой ареал, включая Фиджи.
