Эмпирическая вероятность, также известная как относительная частота или экспериментальная вероятность, представляет собой отношение количества результатов, в которых указанное событие имеет место к общему числу испытаний, а не в теоретическом пространстве выборки, но в реальном эксперименте. В более общем смысле эмпирическая вероятность оценивает вероятности из опыта и наблюдения. В статистических терминах эмпирическая вероятность является оценкой или оценкой вероятности.
