Локарнские договоры
Договоры Локарно были заключены между двумя соглашениями, заключенными в Локарно, Швейцария, 5-16 октября 1925 года и официально подписанными в Лондоне 1 декабря, в которых союзники первой мировой войны Западной Европы и новые государства Центральной и Восточной Европы стремились обеспечить послевоенное территориальное урегулирование и возвращение нормализации отношений с побежденной Германией. Ратификация договоров Локарно была обменена в Женеве 14 сентября 1926 года и в тот же день они вступили в силу. Договоры также были зарегистрированы в Лиге договоров Лиги Наций в тот же день. Локарно разделил границы в Европе на две категории: западные, которые были гарантированы договорами Локарно и восточными границами Германии с Польшей, которые были открыты для пересмотра, что привело к возобновлению требований Германии к Свободному городу Данциг и польским территориям, одобренному Лига Наций, включая Польский коридор и Верхнюю Силезию.
