Национальная конвенция
Национальный съезд был однопалатным собранием во Франции с 21 сентября 1792 года по 26 октября 1795 года во время Французской революции. Он сменил Законодательное собрание и основал Первую Республику после восстания 10 августа 1792 года. Законодательная ассамблея постановила условное приостановление короля Людовика XVI и созыв Национального собрания, в котором должна быть составлена конституция. В то же время было решено, что депутаты этой конвенции должны избираться всеми французами двадцать пять лет или более, проживать в течение года и жить продуктом своего труда. Таким образом, Национальная конвенция была первой французской Ассамблеей, избираемой всеобщим мужским избирательным правом без каких-либо различий в классе.
