Роторефлектор - это устройство или поверхность, отражающая свет обратно к источнику с минимальным рассеянием. Фронт электромагнитной волны отражается обратно вдоль вектора, параллельного, но противоположного по направлению от источника волны. Угол падения, при котором устройство или поверхность отражает свет таким образом, больше нуля, в отличие от планарного зеркала, что делает это, только если зеркало точно перпендикулярно волновому фронту, имеющему нулевой угол падения.
