Резьбовые нити - серебристо-серые перкообразные морские рыбы семейства Polynemidae. Найденный в тропических субтропических водах во всем мире, семейство нитей содержит девять родов и 33 вида. Несвязанные виды, иногда известные под названием threadfin, Alectis indicus, являются, соответственно, индийской рыбой.
