சில விளையாட்டுகளில், தாக்குபவர் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வகையிலான வீரர், பொதுவாக அவரின் பாத்திரம் ஆக்கிரோஷமான நாடகம். கடுமையான தாக்குதல் நடத்துபவர்கள் வழக்கமாக முன்னால் வைக்கப்பட்டு அணிக்காக சில புள்ளிகள் பெறலாம். கால்பந்தாட்டத்தில் தாக்குதல் நடத்துபவர்கள் தாக்குதல் வேலைநிறுத்தக்காரர்களாகவும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றனர்.
