Nobody had ever told me junk food was bad for me. Four years of medical school, and four years of internship and residency, and I never thought anything was wrong with eating sweet rolls and doughnuts, and potatoes, and bread, and sweets.

You intern there and you think man, I'm going to be with the writers and the great comedians. The downside to becoming a doctor, I think, is it's a very long process; four years of medical school, three years of internship, two years of residency, umpteen years of specialization, and then finally you get to be what you have trained almost all your life for.
I've been involved in and out of the U.N. for many years - in fact my first internship was in 1971, so it goes back a couple of years!
