Oolite
Oolite என்பது ooids, செறிவு அடுக்குகளை உருவாக்குகின்ற கோளப்பகுதிகளிலிருந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு மண் பாறை ஆகும். இந்த பெயர் ஹெலெனிக் வார்த்தையான டுசோனை முட்டைக்காக பெறப்பட்டது. கண்டிப்பாக, oolites விட்டம் 0.25-2 மிமீ oodids கொண்டிருக்கும்; 2 மிமீ விட அதிகமான ooids கொண்ட பாறைகள் pisolites என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன. Oolith என்ற வார்த்தை oolite அல்லது தனி ooids பார்க்க முடியும்.
