வெவ்வேறு மக்களிடையே பல்வேறு வழிகளில் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் ஒரு சொல் Racialism. பிரிட்டிஷ் ஆங்கிலத்தில் பெரும்பான்மையானவர்கள், சிலர் இனவெறிக்கு இணையான வார்த்தைகளை வரையறுக்கின்றனர். மற்றவை வேறுபட்ட இனங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளன என்ற நம்பிக்கை என இனவாதத்தைப் பார்க்கின்றன. வெள்ளை அல்லது கறுப்பு பிரிவினைவாத அடையாள அரசியலில் பயன்படுத்தப்படும்போது, இனங்களுக்கு இடையில் சமூக மற்றும் கலாச்சார வேறுபாடுகளை வலியுறுத்துவதற்கு இது நோக்கமாக உள்ளது.
